STOP PRESS!

5750 copies of the newspaper publication 'Some Basic Facts about Chinatown: Excerpts from an Oral History Everyday People and Images' were distributed on Sunday 22nd January  during street celebrations to compliment Chinese New Year. A number of reviews have been written by independent professionals, NML and LJMU students. Academics are eagerly relating to the content in research and the BBC Coast programme telephoned quoting pages to research for the BBC Coast programme.  News travels fast! People are only just learning about the repatriation of the Chinese Seamen since the government made the information available ten years ago.
