On the 24th August descendants of Chinese seamen who were forcibly deported from Liverpool post WWII joined Chinese Consul General, Manchester Tang Rui and CTGN to lay flowers at the plaque to commemorate the seamen at the Pier Head.
Yvonne Foley, Keith Cocklin and LCC worked together and installed the plaque in 2006
