The Sound Agents working with Dr Simon Abrams have been awarded funding from Awards for All to teach patients IT skills in the waiting room of Great Homer Street Surgery, Conway Street, Everton.
GREATY GETTING INTO IT project aims to strengthen the community by empowering patients who attend The Great Homer Street Surgery to learn how to use and access computers in the Waiting Room. The patients will learn how to design web pages based on personal experience to provide information on associated illnesses including lung and chest disease, heart disease, cancer and depression.

Patient wellbeing will arise from activities and connections that each group forms using the five ways to wellbeing – connecting, learning, being active, taking notice and giving.
