JOBS FOR LIFE? THE DOCKERS

Dockers Jobs for Life Project Focus Group

The Sound Agents John Campbell and Moira Kenny are working in partnership with Development Sefton Libraries, Dockers and their families to help shape a project to collect stories of the Docks. A Consultation Event took place on Wednesday 18th September at 11.30 am at Bootle Library.

Next meeting Wednesday 2nd October 11.30 to develop a proposal to celebrate Sefton as the Liverpool City Region, celebrating Culture and Creativity 2020.

The Sound Agents promote public understanding and access to communities by recording the personal and everyday experience of Liverpool life.

The purpose of the organisation is to work inclusively with people from under-represented communities to provide opportunities to share stories using the Arts as a tool for communication.

Working outside the structure to bring together older people to pass their skills on to the younger generation by working creatively to share talents, experience and enthusiasm to bring people together to improve health and well-being and create opportunities for young people to get involved in Socially Engaged practice.
